  • As an ex-working mother, I do believe you are missing the point. There is a load of guilt that comes with motherhood and a career. You can hide it, you can pass it off, or even act like it doesn't exist, but it is there. And why is it there? Because we are the nurturers.

  • Yes, it's easy to be super mom when you can bring your child to work with you! How many of us mom's wouldn't want that! BUT, how much of a distraction is a wailing baby going to be when you need to be deciding or discussing major issues? It isn't like she can just call off and put the world on hold.

  • I don't think returning to work just three days after birthing a special needs child AND bringing him with you shows good judgement. To me, it shows that she is torn between her job and her children. But it's plainly obvious where she puts the priority...the job.

  • And how do we know this isn't the very thing that will bring God back to the earth to set up His reign? God did give us intelligence, that is true, but He also gave us free will. It isn't in using this intelligence that makes God angry, but using this intelligence to do what He does or has done.

  • Just look at the tower of Babel. People wanted to be as high as God and what did He do? He confused their language and made them spread out over the world. When we seek to be as high as God, God seeks to let us know we will NEVER be as Mighty as Him.

  • I happen to take creationism literally. God breathed it and it was done. One of the reasons why I believe that over the big bang theory (besides God being in my life) is because NO ONE has given any CONCRETE proof that the earth is older than 6000 years.
